The Honeywell BW™ Flex 4 is a compact, high-performance portable multi-gas detector designed to ensure worker safety in hazardous environments like confined spaces, manufacturing plants, and utilities. Built to monitor up to four gas hazards simultaneously.

With a choice of 12 different sensor types, the BW™ Flex protects you from multiple gas hazards, in a small, rugged, and easy to use device. BW™ Flex keeps specialists operating in confined spaces, or general workers on a plant, safe from gas hazards while making safety compliance for the business easy.
One of its standout traits is its impressive battery efficiency; when equipped with its low-power infrared LEL (Lower Explosive Limit) sensor, the device can run for up to two months on a single 4.5-hour charge, effectively eliminating the hassle of daily charging. Additionally, the Flex 4 features i-Series intelligent sensors that provide predictive maintenance data to avoid unexpected failure, a high-resolution multilingual screen for real-time readings
Pairing the BW™ Flex with your smart mobile device via Bluetooth™ allows remote measurement, field reporting of incidents, or even full instrument configuration and calibration. What’s more everything is recorded for download when needed.

 

 

BW FLEX 4/5 

The Honeywell BW Flex 4/5 is the BW FLEX used with a dualtox CO/H2S sensor - with this setup there is a slot free for the CO2 sensor and makes it a 5-gas instrument
Specialy for marine applications the 5-gas instrument is higly suited due to the new IMO regulation regarding the IMO MSC.581.

Honeywell BW Flex 4/5 with CO₂ – Ready for IMO MSC.581 Compliance

With the introduction of IMO MSC.581(110), gas detection requirements for enclosed space entry have fundamentally changed. CO₂ is now recognized as a primary hazard, making traditional 4-gas detectors no longer sufficient for full compliance. The Honeywell BW Flex 4/5 provides a simple, future-proof solution by combining CO₂ monitoring with essential gas detection in one compact, wearable device.

Fully Aligned with IMO Requirements

The BW Flex 4/5 is designed to meet the latest maritime safety standards by enabling continuous personal monitoring of:

  • Oxygen (O₂)
  • Flammable gases (LEL)
  • Toxic gases such as CO and H₂S
  • Carbon dioxide (CO₂)

This configuration directly supports the requirements of IMO MSC.581, where safe entry depends on maintaining proper oxygen levels, controlling flammable atmospheres, and ensuring CO₂ concentrations remain within safe limits.

Integrated CO₂ Monitoring (NDIR Technology)

Unlike conventional detectors, the BW Flex 5 includes an advanced infrared (NDIR) CO₂ sensor. This ensures accurate and stable measurement of carbon dioxide—an invisible and rapidly accumulating gas that poses a serious risk in enclosed spaces.

One Device, Total Compliance

The BW Flex 4/5 eliminates the need for multiple instruments. Instead of carrying both a standard 4-gas detector and a separate CO₂ monitor, users benefit from a single, easy-to-use device that simplifies operations, reduces maintenance, and improves safety.

 

 

HONEYWELL BW CPD-HHP Handheld pump ATEX

he Handheld Pump enables remote sampling to any diffusion type portable gas monitor. 
Rugged and lightweight is an ideal companion to simple, efficient, and easy to use, gas detectors.
The intrinsically safe electric pump replaces manual bulb type pumps making spot checks, clearing and extended monitoring possible.

Operation:

The Honeywell CPD-HHP makes any type of difuse detector a pumped model in split seconds.
You can easily clip on the detector to the bracket of the handheld pump and connect the calibration cap with hose on to the pump.
After activation of the pump you will hear a beep and a green light , meaning you are ready to take measurements up to 45m of depth within a minute.
The flowrate of the pump is around 450cc per minute and with the build in filters you will keep your instrument and pump safe for external dust or moisture.
