Hexagon Stainless steel Sampling Weight (27mm) 

Sampling weights are frequently used to add weight to the sampler, Or directly with a rope mounted to a sampling bottle.

These weights are produced from a hexagon stainless steel so that the weight can't roll off the tank roof. The Sampling weight is 100% Tig welded and no open seams to avoid contamination. For most products, a sampling weight of 1 kg will be enough. For more viscose products such as crude or edible oils and fats, we have the 1,5 and 2 kg weights.

Operation:

Running sample: Use a Sampling weight, sampling bottle and 100% Cotton rope. Tie this together so the sampling weight is hanging below the sampling bottle. Lower down this combined set into the liquid to be sampled with high speed to the required depth and pull up with high speed. The bottle should be filled for about 75-90% to ensure a good runningsample. 
When sampling low viscosity liquids narrow down the opening of the sampling bottle by using the matching cap of the bottle and use a handdril to make a small opening in the cap.
