Stainless steel valve can ( Zone sampler)

This sampler has been specially designed for drawing samples at any required level.

The zone sampler can be easily disassembled for ease of cleaning and consists of a seamless cylinder with a inner screwthread.Top cap with opening and clasp and a bottom cap with stainless steel valve. The valve opening of the sampler is such that it is also suitable for taking samples in thick liquids. The sampler is a Hartwig Instruments quality product, with life time warranty.

Operation:

The zone sampler is lowered into the liquid to be sampled using a chain or a rope (100% cotton!). When lowering the sampler with a certain speed, the liquid force the Stainless steel valve of the sampler upwards and the liquid is allowed to flow in at the bottom and out at the top. When the sampler reaches the required level, the sampler comes to a standstill and the bottom valve close automatically.
